LE MANS, France – The ACO, creator and organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and overall dumbasses, announced a change to the GT format for the WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans starting in 2023 with the exit of the only good cars to watch each event. “We are ending the GT Pro category as the racing in that class is too competitive, exciting and professional, something sportscar racing should not be in the business of,” said ACO President Pierre Fillon, “So bye bye after 2022. We will then go with a sole Pro-Am format and in an effort to bend our customers over even more, make them purchase a pointless body kit for the GT3 cars in 2024, which is something everyone has asked for as long as we label it as ‘premium’.

Sportscar racing should be about guys like Jim Glickenhaus and rich dentists that nobody wants to pay attention to when they’re in the car. This is where we are headed.”
