LONG BEACH, California – On Sunday afternoon LBGP promoter Chris Pook announced a long-term deal with Pagenaud & Sons Lawn Care to maintain the grounds in and around the venue. “Simon’s company has done a fantastic job getting the Long Beach Grand Prix to look the way it does, so we are excited to get this deal done,” said Pook, “There is not a better grounds crew in the world than Pagenaud & Sons, just look at what they did with the dolphin fountain this year, it’s always a feature and this will be one many talk about for years to come.”
Long Beach Grand Prix Inks Long-Term Deal With Pagenaud & Sons Lawn Care

Simon Pagenaud, known by most as a race car driver in the IndyCar series, put his new hobby of performance art on debut to an international audience during the Long Beach Grand Prix. Pagenaud made the bold move to debut his art installation “Pink Car on Purple Flowers” (sponsored by Sirius XM and Autonation) in the middle of the race, a decision that netted him maximum airtime for the piece. Rumors are that an NFT based on the art installation will drop in the near future.
Various art critics called Pagenaud’s piece, “A daring juxtaposition of the docile flora and the technology of modern day,” “An expressive comment on the aggressive destruction of the environment by fossil fuel-powered cars,” and “A heck of a lot better than that Biden kid’s crap.”
