NASHVILLE, Tennessee – Before the checkered flag flew on Sunday’s Music City Grand Prix, the City of Nashville and Indycar worked to tweak the track layout in an effort to decrease the on-track carnage. “The city is great and everyone was really excited for it,” said Indycar CEO Mark Miles, “But parts of the track invite bad decisions and leave zero room for error.”

“So we worked with the city to change the layout ever so slightly for 2022 and beyond to make sure we get as much action and green flag running as possible.”
