INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato is ecstatic to win another race at The Brickyard, but is furious he was able to only cash a $1.37 million check at the bank on Monday morning. “This race is great, but the winnings are BS!” said Sato to a group of reporters, “Barely over a million dollars for three hours of work? What is this a sports car race?!”

Sports car racers Earl Bamber, Ryan Dalziel, and Spencer Pumpelly anxiously watched on in the background as Pumpelly folded up a $1,300, second-place check from Sonoma the week before and put it in his wallet while starting to sob as Bamber consoled him.
