DARLINGTON, South Carolina – When NASCAR shut down due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Chase Elliott reached out to friend and Indycar driver Will Power to help stay sharp.  “I’ve got this oval stuff pretty well handled, but it’s nice to get a different perspective and learn a different discipline,” said the second-generation driver, “So I reached out to Will [Power] to see if he would help coach me up a little bit during the downtime.  On Wednesday night after Busch wrecked me, the training with Will really paid off.”

He’s doing well, he’s a quick learner,” said Power, “The single bird is a great start, but we’ll keep working so he can get that double bird perfected by the end of 2020.”
