DARLINGTON, South Carolina – NASCAR saw a dip in Confederate Flag displays at Darlington Speedway on Sunday after fans were not allowed in attendance due to Covid-19 large gathering restrictions.  “NASCAR is happy to announce we had a 43% reduction in Confederate Flag displays at Darlington on Sunday to restart the 2020 season,” said Steve Phelps, NASCAR President, “Fans are finally getting on board with not showing up and showing up without those God-awful flags flying and we’re excited for it.  This reduction in displays is a great start.”
