BERLIN, Germany – DTM head Gerhard Berger has a plan to help rebuild the once-famous series after news broke earlier this week about Audi’s withdrawal from the championship after the 2020 season.  While holding a meeting in a dark alley and wearing a trench coat, Berger told the anonymous person he was meeting with that his plan is to replace the current Class One specification cars with the MitJet Supertourisme and act like nothing happened.

Nobody will even know except you and me,” said Berger quietly while using a scruffy boice, “Look, we have like 12 fans in Germany but chances are they are schloshed drunk after too many dunkels to even notice or care.  When you squint or have blurred vision, you’d think it was a DTM competition!”
