LOS ANGELES, California – Porsche’s “Endurance” documentary, which runs for an hour and a half in length, is a great inside look at the motorsports industry and what it takes to deal with the pressures of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Nurburgring. The production quality and director of photography do a fantastic job framing each shot to make you, the viewer, feel like you are part of Porsche Motorsports, getting sweaty and dirty working on the machines. The only problem? It’s 90 minutes too long.
With overly-dramatized movies like Ford vs Ferrari and that talking Dog taking over the silver screen, it’s nice to see a more realistic, grassroots effort really give fans a glimpse into the industry.
I give “Endurance” 6.9 stars.
