EVANSTON, Illinois – Sim Racer Glen Samson has been practicing self-quarantines for years. After his divorce, Samson started sim racing to help pass the time and fill the void of loneliness left when his wife Nancy left him. “I started iRacing when Nance left and found my happy place, after moving back in with my Mom” said Samson, “For years I’ve kept myself in my basement apartment and always have a healthy stock of Mountain Dew and Doritos down here. Toilet paper is no issue because nobody is buying my size adult diapers right now.”
Samson said he has no worries about an official lock-down or curfew being put in place and is prepared if the internet goes down by having his PS3 and Gran Turismo 5 on stand-by.
