TULSA, Oklahoma – Former TCB competitor Zak Thomas, who last competed with his Mazda 2 TCB car in 2015, has been seen on social media referring to race drivers as ‘us’, ‘we’, or ‘we’re’ through different discussions. “When we’re in the car, there’s no better feeling,” said Thomas in a post, “We just get in the zone like it’s tunnel vision and we just race. There’s nothing else happening in the world for us while we’re racing.”
Thomas, who raced primarily in his SCCA regionals, did make one Pirelli World Challenge TCB start at Circuit of the Americas in 2015. “My first Pro race was great, started in eleventh and before the end of the first lap I was up to seventh,” he said without telling his finishing position.
