MUNICH, Germany – BMW has confirmed a DTM entry for former F1 and WRC driver Robert Kubica, bringing the full season entry list up to 15 cars after the exit of R Motorsports Aston Martin machines.  “We’re excited to bring the DTM grid up to 15 cars,” said DTM boss Gerhard Berger, “With Kubica driving that will quickly be changed to 14 cars, but at least the pictures of the cars starting the race will usually show 15 unless he crashes in practice.”

The 2020 DTM season kicks off at Zolder at the end of April with Kubica and BMW testing the car just prior at a track surrounded with inflatable barriers similar to bumper-bowling.
