DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – With only six of eighteen cars finishing NASCAR’s preseason exhibition race, ‘The Busch Clash’ on Sunday afternoon, iRacing enthusiasts have declared the sim racing platform as a legit simulation given the amount of consistent crashes that happen in both the real and virtual racing series.  “We do that every Tuesday night!” said Ted Banner, who has been playing iRacing for nearly 7 years now, “The Busch Clash just proves the legitimacy of the sim and the attention to detail the developers put into the game.”

The biggest difference between iRacing and the real NASCAR series is that iRacing has been able to sign a title sponsor for their top-level stockcar racing series, something NASCAR has not been able to do for the 2020 season.
