WASHINGTON D.C. – After Tuesday’s State of the Union, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, ripped up the FIA WEC’s Hypercar rulebook, despite millions thinking it was President Donald Trump’s speech. “I didn’t really care to listen to the speech, I read that crap two days ago,” said Pelosi, “I was trying to understand the Hypercar rule set, but Good Lord there’s nothing there! No substance at all, just words with no definitive rules or direction. It was actually like Trump himself wrote the Hypercar rulebook, not a group of race officials. I had to do the right thing and just tear it up so nobody else had to read that garbage. You’re welcome, America.”
When media learned that it was the Hypercar rulebook that was torn to shreds and not the SOTU speech, backlash immediately ended except from Corvette fans for no apparent reason.
