GAYDON, United Kingdom – With the withdrawal of R Motorsport from DTM to potentially free up resources, Aston Martin has doubled down the talk on their possible WEC Hypercar program like it’s a good idea.  “We love hypercar, it’s a great platform and we’re truly jazzed by it,” said CEO Andy Palmer, “Our company, who needed a jolt of $118 million from Mr. Lawrence Stroll to stay afloat, looks forward to spending $50mil on our WEC hypercar program instead of waiting and just spending 1/10th of that on a LMDh program.”
