SILVERSTONE, United Kingdom – Racing Point F1, formerly Force India, are excited to rebrand their team as the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team starting with the 2021 season.  Documents gathered by the Lugg Nutt say, “Aston Martin Lagonda has entered into a legally binding termsheet under which the Racing Point F1 team will become the Aston Martin F1 works team with effect from the 2021 season.”

Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer then told the Lugg Nutt, “We’re honored for 2021 to become the official Aston Martin program in Formula 1.  We’re also looking forward to 2022 to find another company, slogan, or manufacturer to take over and rebrand again.  Gatorade Racing Team? Maybe.  Just Do It Racing?  We’ll see.  Everything is on the table and we’re excited to see what our name can become.  Having more name changes than wins has always been the goal.”
