DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – A veteran Daytona Prototype International driver complained to the media on Saturday morning during The Roar Before the 24 test that their Acura DPi was just too slow due to Balance of Performance.  “I just think we’re too weighted down by BoP,” said John Puebla Monboya as his teammate set the fastest lap of the on-going session, “IMSA is killing us, there’s no chance we can compete this weekend or during the race” he finished as his teammate hit the highest trap speed of the class.

After winning the most races in 2019 and claiming the championship, Puebla Monboya is certain IMSA has not given Acura a fair shake and hopes the series does something so they can fight for wins.
