INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Marco Andretti, long-time driver for his Father’s Andretti Autosport team, has voiced his concern over the current driver market within the NTT Indycar Series.  “It’s sad and insane to see,” said the third-generation nepotistic driver, “You’ve got guys like Hinch and Bourdais losing rides only for guys who are coming with some cash, these guys are top tier talent and we can’t have them without seats.”

Put it this way – how would you feel if you’re a top 5 driver in the series without a ride and you look over and see a seat being taken up by someone with zero experience in an Indycar just because of who they know or how big their Dad’s checkbook is.  Everyone in the paddock is nervous about their futures.  Everyone.”
