INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has promised to return to the Indy 500 in 2020 in pursuit of his next racing goal of conquering the Motorsports Triple Crown – winning Le Mans, Monaco, and the Indy 500.  “I love to race and the next thing I need to do is win the Indy 500,” said Alonso, “I promise to be there after kicking a Indy regular from their seat at the last minute to get on the grid.  Conor Daly, Sage Karam, Oriol Servia, JD Davison, Pippa Mann I don’t really care who it is, but I’ll be taking a seat and sponsorship from someone.”

Alonso then went on to talk about back-up options on how he might target an up-and-comer’s seat if needed.
