SOCHI, Russia – After passing his teammate for the lead at the start of Sunday’s Russian Grand Prix, four-time champion Sebastian Vettel ignored his Ferrari team commands to give the place back to Charles Leclerc.  At the mid-way point of the race it all became a mute point as Vettel retired due to mechanical failure.  “Why does it even matter anymore,” said an annoyed Vettel, “Does anyone even think Mercedes can be beat coming into the season? They always say how down on power they are and how their aero isn’t working to its full potential and this and that, but good Lord, it really doesn’t matter.  I’m just here for the paycheck and waiting until I’m old enough to go race in Indycar.”
