MONTEREY, California – Josef Newgarden, the now two-time NTT Indycar Series Champion, says he is pleased to win another title, but has a long ways to go to live up to and be as boring as one of his idols: five-time champ, Scott Dixon.  “Getting number two is special,” said Newgarden, “But there’s a long way to go to be as boring as Scott [Dixon].  Scott is still three-times more boring than I am.  I’m twice as boring as I once was, but there’s still a large gap between my boringness and his.”

It has also been reported that researchers from Boston University will be conducting a five-year study to determine if the number of Indycar titles won correlates to how boring a driver is.  Their subjects, who have already been categorized, will be:

Scott Dixon – Super Boring

Sebastien Bourdais – Very Boring

Josef Newgarden – Kinda Boring

Will Power – Weird, but not Boring

Simon Pagenaud – Weird, but not Boring

Alexander Rossi – Not Boring

James Hincliffe – Not Boring
