TORONTO, Canada – Last weekend was the 20 year anniversary of the unfortunate passing of an up and coming Indycar driver at the series event in Toronto, and many fans remember being there.  Over 75,000 Indycar fans took to social media and recall being at the race that weekend, with attendance records showing 40,000 patrons, and what it felt like in person.

The crowd went quite and the air felt cold,” responded one fan who was totally in the stands that day, “we all hoped for the best, but ultimately a star was lost.  It was an odd feeling walking around, and I was there so I walked around, and everyone just looked upset.”
