ELKHART LAKE, Wisconsin- As Road America begins final preparations for the NTT IndyCar Series this weekend, track general manager Michael Kertscher discussed an exciting new promotion that offers guests a personal EMT to follow them should they have a heart attack. “Thanks to our new race title sponsor REV Group all first responders will gain admittance this weekend free of charge. Along with the free admittance, Road America and REV Group felt it prudent to let these heroes put their skills on display by offering their services up to guests who might end up having heart attacks on the property after eating some of Road America’s most famous food offerings,” said Kertscher, who was surrounded by some of Sheboygan county’s finest. “This personalized service will allow guests to partake of whatever they want when they want. Go crazy. Why stop at two ears of corn and three eggers when a paramedic with a defibrillator is at arm’s length? Do you feel chest pains while you walk from one concession stand to another? Road America and REV Group have you covered.”

Some EMTs present expressed concern about the handling of guests that can not be resuscitated to which Kertscher replied that unless they are holding up a line they can be left until Monday.
