LE MANS, France – The ACO and FIA have released the final attendance numbers for the 87th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and, while still much smaller than the Indianapolis 500, were fantastic.  While announcing the attendance of 255,000 for the weekend, down from 256,000 in 2018, the ACO also released how they get to this number.

It’s quite simple,” said ACO’s Vice President of Marketing and Promotion Claude Mensonge, “Take the standard WEC attendance of 55,000, then add 200,000 to it for Le Mans.  Botta Bing, Botta Boom.”
