ANAHEIM, California – At a ribbon cutting ceremony in a parking lot 60 miles outside of town, Disneyland president Josh D’Amaro spoke to assembled media at the opening of Disneyland’s new Autocross Experience. Looking to build on the momentum of the recently opened Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, D’Amaro went into detail about what guests can expect from Autocross Experience. “Guests will show up at dawn, no matter the weather conditions, where they will be greeted by a cast member already in a bad mood who lost their paperwork. After this, guest will stand around for at least two to three hours before taking a ride around this all newly constructed park that includes cracked blacktop and what looks like a liquidated big box store. Cast members wearing Blipshift shirts and Spy sunglasses will take guests around the parking lot in an unnecessarily loud Chevrolet S-10 for 45 seconds before dumping them off to wait another couple hours and repeating the process. Come the end of the day guests will have their photos taken holding a generic trophy with their name spelled wrong and posted to our Facebook page with a Hooligan cover photo specifically designed for Autocross Experience. Disneyland has always been and will continue to be the most magical place on earth.”

Autocross Experience had originally been slated to open back in April but faced numerous setbacks which included a shortage of Grassroots Motorsports stickers.
