SANT’AGATA, Italy – With an eye on philanthropy, Lamborghini have announced the ‘Super Trofeo Foundation’ where for every Super Trofeo car that is sold, one car will be given to a driver in need.  “There are far too many drivers on the sideline today,” said Giorgio Sanna, head of Lamborghini Motorsport, “Some drivers have fathers who can only afford a Mazda MX-5 Cup season, some drivers have fathers that can only afford a season of Porsche GT3 Cup, but some have fathers that can afford a GT3 or LMP2 ride.  We’ve decided it’s time for Lamborghini to step up and get these not-as-rich kids into a proper racing car.  So we’re announcing the Super Trofeo Foundation to help get these not-as-rich kids into the game.
