LE MANS, France – The ACO, 24 Hours of Le Mans organizers, have released a special edition 24 Hours of Le Mans-themed shoe, to keep Hypercar manufacturers from walking away from the upcoming technical regulations.  “While many think these shoes are for style, and they are, we’ll be giving them away to all manufacturers and their employees in an effort to convince them to stick around in the WEC for a few more seasons,” said the ACO Director of Marketing Claude Lemme.

When it was pointed out that $80 shoes seem like an odd gift for companies who will be spending $50 million or more on their programs, Lemme was then asked if the shoes had any devices that drugged those who put them on.  Lemme then paused, knocked over a glass a water and ran out of the room.
