MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – During a ceremony outside Fiserv Forum before last night’s game, Doug Boles was joined by Giannis Antetokounmpo to announce the NBA star known as the Greek Freak will be the honorary starter for the 103rd Indianapolis 500. In a change from tradition Antetokounmpo will not wave the green flag but will instead dunk on Santino Ferrucci as he passes by to start the race. Excited as usual by everything Indy, Boles promised fans this will be something they will never forget. “Giannis is the most exciting and unstoppable force in the NBA right now, and Santino Ferrucci is an IndyCar driver. Giannis is known for embarrassing opponents with monster dunks that figuratively put people in their graves, and we wanted to bring that joy to thousands of IndyCar fans by seeing Giannis dunk on Santino and figuratively steal his soul and eat it.”

Plans for the dunk will entail Antetokounmpo’s starting at turn 1 with a full head of steam before bringing thunder down on Ferrucci and sneering to let Ferrucci know this is Antetokounmpo’s house.
