LEXINGTON, Ohio – Making her way to the front of the line with her father, 11-year-old Madison Embry could not wait to meet her favorite driver and request an autograph on her hero hard. As she timidly made her request to Spencer Pumpelly he rebuffed her and instead only wanted to talk about that trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog. “He did not even give me or my dad a chance to respond before we started talking about how weird Sonic’s legs looked,” said Embry who was now out of line and disheartened by the experience. “The movie looks bad, but that doesn’t give him the right to yell at me about Sonic having human teeth. I just wanted my hero card signed.”

Embory and her father moved to a different line but could still hear Pumpelly yelling about the choice of “Gangsta’s Paradise” for the movie soundtrack.
