BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested at a hotel outside of Birmingham, Alabama following the NTT Indycar Series round at Barber Motorsports Park.  Since 2010 the United States government has searched for Assange to arrest him with charges for hacking the FIA’s data warehouse where all driver ranking and BoP data is kept.  The manhunt finally came to an end on Thursday morning when the FBI got a tip that for years Assange had been hiding in plain sight as he posed as David Letterman, co-owner of Indycar team Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

Assange is facing up to 30 years in prison for hacking and imitating a former talk show host.
