CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts – Researchers with the National Science Foundation took time to apologize today for originally hyping a photo they alleged was the first ever image of a black hole, but was later determined to be a close up of different WEC races. Standing at the podium and sheepishly explaining the mistake was National Science Foundation director Laura Zisto. “I am here to apologize to everyone for this grave mistake. Black holes are known to suck more than anything in the known universe, or that is what we thought. It was not until yesterday we realized the WEC actually sucks more, and we had just misread the data,” said Zisto who was then pelted with questions from assembled media asking if the ByKolles car can be seen breaking down but refused to answer.

“Going forward we will compare any data we receive from the Event Horizon Telescope with any WEC race that is not Le Mans.”
