BROWNSBURG, Indiana – Buoyed with optimism from their first foray into being a support series, WEC has been exploring other options to filch fame off of.  One found is Lucas Oil Raceway, which plays host to many pre-Indy 500 events, but a 1000 mile mixed-class sports car race on the .686 mile oval is something WEC is excited about.  “We love the city and people of Brownsburg and are excited to announce our next 1000 mile race in the United States on the Lucas Oil Raceway oval!” said an excited WEC president Gerard Neveu, “The only downer is that the track holds only 30,000 fans and we need room for 55,000 so hopefully they can expand there a bit.”

The FIA’s WEC event will run during the Carb Night Classic event and start at 11:00am prior to the feature USF2000 race.
