ELKO, Nevada – Reflecting back on a weekend full of racing, Hal Boros sat at work Monday morning talking with coworkers about his weekend. While others talked about getting outside and enjoying the nice weather, Boros had to admit the weekend he was anticipating turned out to be rather boring. “I know all last week I was telling everyone about how much racing I planned on watching. I was going to veg out on the couch starting Friday afternoon with the Michelin Pilot Challenge followed by WEC. Saturday was the 12 Hours of Sebring then F1 a couple hours later and NASCAR on Sunday.”

Boros paused for a couple seconds to organize his thoughts or think of a bright spot from the weekend, “None of them were all that great or memorable. I kind of fell asleep for parts of the WEC race, F1 was over at the first corner, the Michelin race made me wonder if points were awarded for hitting other cars, NASCAR was NASCAR, and IMSA was predictable. The NBCSN coverage was good at least.” Boros told his coworkers he won’t bother looking forward to anything the rest of the year except Monster Jam.
