LIME ROCK, CT- Facing years of stiff opposition from locals, Lime Rock Park has come to an agreement with its neighbors that will see the track restrict activities to 15 minutes on July 9, 2019. Track officials are confident they can be good neighbors as well as continue to provide great racing to fans. “We are confident that we will be here for years to come and promise to provide the best 10-12 minutes of racing in the northeast,” said Jamie Owens, who manages the track and will be responsible for making sure there is strict adherence  to the new ordinance. “I say 10-12 minutes, because we have to allow for a pace lap or two. Also, fans will be given a couple minutes to arrive and park and then to exit the premises.”

Owens said he is targeting a second event on a Wednesday in January but could not say more at this time.
