SILVER SPRING, Maryland – After years of animal testing (and lets be honest that’s not too far off of racing super fans), the Food and Drug Administration approved a Super Fan Repellent spray for teams and drivers to use at racing events.  Ginassi Racing and S.C Johnson partnered on the idea after years of dealing with super fans mooching food, grabbing extra hero cards and just loitering around their transporter acting like they were taking pics of the car.  “Back in the 80s and even 90s it wasn’t too bad, but with social media these days, people think they really know us, like we’re college bros” said team owner Chip Ganassi, “but news flash, grab your hero card and get the hell out!”

The new spray, named “FanOff”, will make its public debut as Blancpain GT World Challenge opens their season at Circuit of the Americas.  “I’m happy for World Challenge that they’ll have a little more fan control for this weekend, but we really could have used the product at Daytona, for both IMSA and NASCAR.  Super fans were like flies on shit this year.” ended Ganassi.
