DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – After the 61st running of the Daytona 500, NASCAR officials held a press conference to talk about how great the race was for the first two-thirds and why they’re okay with that.  “There’s an old saying we have here at NASCAR HQ, ‘It ain’t how you finish, it’s how you start, or something’“, told Mark Wance, a Sr. NASCAR executive. “We also like to say, ‘If you ain’t first, you’re last. So just wait a couple of laps and the back of the field will become the front when they crash themselves out‘”.

When asked about the 3 major accidents that took place during the final 10 laps of the race and how that ruins the quality of racing, Wance just smiled and said, “Just how we wro” but was quickly shuffled away from the podium by a group of men in black robes with a logo of a triangle with an eye on the chest.
