FT. LAUDERDALE, Florida – After two straight years of facing penalties that took away strong performances at the Daytona 24, Band Racing promises to come back stronger in 2020. Knowing that race officials will be watching, refueling and minimum driver times will make the challenge over 24 hours that much more compelling says team strategist Mark Joss, “These last two years have been a real learning experience for everyone. We were proud of getting penalties for refueling problems in 2018 and decided to move onto drive times, and it is pretty obvious IMSA has working stopwatches, so next year will be a real challenge to throw away a possible class win or podium finish.”

Joss added that team management was reviewing all their options for 2020 including sending the car out with only three tires or just running the oval until their car is black flagged.
