MONTERREY, California – Believing that motorsport journalism is only second to curing cancer, one paddock reporter says respect is earned, not given, and also suggests wearing a hat with your likeness on it. “The racing paddock is full of posers and people looking for that rumor they can turn into an entire article,” declared the journalist wearing a silly hat emblazoned with a cartoonish version of himself. “There are a lot of other people calling themselves journalists that have the nerve to not wear hats with caricatures of themselves. It really makes you wonder what they are about. If you will excuse me, I have to go call people bro and make inside jokes no one gets.”
To emphasize their point the journalist sighed for a good half hour before getting to the point which really was not worth the effort.
