GAINSVILLE, Florida – Aspiring young driver Trevor McManus is closing in on locking down a drive for the 2019 season. The 19 year old has had success coming up through karting and junior formulas, but is looking to make the jump to bigger series. “Well right now we have about 90% done a Formula 4 season is looking good. The car, the team, a new suit and Stilo helmet, all of that is in place. The last 10% is finding $750,000 in funding so they let him drive the car,” remarked McManus’ father Bruce. McManus set up a GoFundMe in August to help find that backing. Right now that page sits at $2,245 of the $750k goal.
