Le Mans, France – The WEC is proud to announce a second entry to the all new Hypercar class and wants to reassure fans the new entry is totally not the Nissan LMP1 car that has just been painted a different color. Le Mans is the crown jewel of the WEC Super Season and appeals to fans all over the globe and entering the Nissan LMP1 painted in something other than red or blue to inflate entries is something the ACO would never allow. The interested parties reached out to us early on to inquire about budgets, timelines, and also how to acquire roller brushes, but the ACO wants to be on the record that this is just a coincidence. We invite racing fans the world over to tune in June 15-16, 2019 for the 84th 24 of Le Mans to witness history and the all new Hypercar class which will not include a repainted Nissan LMP1. We swear.
